We would love to have you join us on a castles tour.

You can book directly with Astrid Baur Travel ...

• using the Online Reservation Request tool below,
• using the paper Reservation Request Form provided below and faxing or mailing it, or
• sending a simple email with the required information.

A non-refundable Deposit is required to secure a Confirmed Reservation.  The per person Deposit amounts vary depending on the length of the tour, and are specified on the individual tour web pages and in the downloadable Itinerary PDFs. You can pay the Deposit (at Reservation time) and the Balance (45 days before your tour begins) by credit card, PayPal, or check. How you prefer to pay the Deposit and the Balance may affect the way you request a Reservation.  Procedures for the different payment options are described below.

Terms and Conditions

Participation in Astrid Baur Travel tours is conditional on acceptance of the Astrid Baur Travel Terms and Conditions posted here.  The two formats provided below have identical content.

The Terms and Conditions of August 16, 2009 have been updated to distinguish between Guaranteed Departure tours and the new Conditional Departure tours being introduced for 2011.  All other Terms and Conditions remain unchanged.  Details at the bottom of the Terms and Conditions page and PDF.

We will be contacting you by email.  To help ensure that our messages get to you, please add the email address  astrid.baur@t-online.de  to your browser's Safe List or White List.  This is particularly important if your email service is provided by AOL.

Reservation Procedure Suggestions

If you will be paying with PayPal ...

• Use the Online Reservation Request tool.  You can safely provide us with everything we need to know to complete your reservation using this online form.  Billing procedures are described in detail in the PayPal_Procedures section below.

If you will be paying by check ...

• Print out the Reservation Request Form provided in PDF format and follow the instructions in the Check_Procedures section below to send the form and your Deposit check.
•  You may submit the Online Reservation Request form if you wish, indicating that payment is being mailed, to secure a tentative reservation while your check is in the mail.

If you will be paying by credit card (MasterCard or VISA)  ...

• You have lots of Reservation Request options, but due to internet security concerns they do not include asking for your credit card number in an online form.
• If you use the Online Reservation Request tool or send a plain email to book a tour, Astrid will telephone you to get the credit card number and expiry date.
• If you use the printed Reservation Request Form, you can fax that form with the included credit card information (or mail it) as outlined in Credit Card Procedures below.
• Full details are provided in the Credit_Card_Procedures section below.

Email Reservation Request

If you'd rather not deal with online or PDF  forms, you can send a simple email to Astrid identifying the tour you'd like to take, the tour date, your name, address, and phone number, the names of those who will be traveling with you, and whether you will be paying by MasterCard, VISA, PayPal or check.  That email should go to: astrid.baur@t-online.de

Procedures

PayPal is an online payment collection service that uses secure website connections to conduct financial transactions over the internet in a way designed to prevent eavesdropping, tampering and message forgery.  Astrid Baur Travel's PayPal account is based in Germany, and requires payments to be made from an established or new PayPal account.

For persons who have PayPal accounts, or would like to establish one, this is the simplest solution.

Fill out the online Reservation Request form provided at the Online Reservation Request button above.

List the Email address to which your PayPal account is attached on the form and select the PayPal Method of Payment.

Astrid Baur Travel will an email you a reply with an attached Invoice listing the details of your booking and the total cost, and will send you separately an email PayPal Money Request in the amount of the Invoice.

When the payment has been received, you will receive a Reservation Confirmation and Final Invoice, listing the Balance which will come due 45 days prior to you tour.  A second email Money Request will be sent when the Final Balance is due.

Procedures

Fill out the paper Reservation Request form provided as a printable PDF file at the Reservation Request Form button above.

Send the Request form and a check for the Deposit (US $ 300 per person for most tours) by air mail to:

You will receive an email reply with an attached Reservation Confirmation and Final Invoice, acknowledging receipt of the Deposit and listing the details of your booking, the total cost, and the Final Balance which will come due 45 days prior to your tour.  It is your responsibility to mail the final check to arrive at least 45 days prior to your tour date.

You may submit the Online Reservation Request form above if you wish, indicating that payment is being mailed, to secure a tentative reservation while your check is in the mail.
