Introduction to Castles Tours

Astrid Baur Travel is based in Hopfen am See, just outside of Fussen (Füssen or Fuessen in German) in the southern part of Bavaria.  The Neuschwanstein and Hohenschwangau castles are within 5 km (3 miles) of Fussen.

The "European Castles Tours" operating name replaces the previous "Castles Of the World Tours" label, but the tours have not changed, nor has Astrid.  The history of these tours is explained on our Tours Origins page.
